/bant/craft is a 1.18 Minecraft server focused around cooperative building and social events. The current iteration, /bant/craft VII, is run by Rahz (that's me!) and jannie'd by VerlepteHenk, Shpee, and Tuxtla. The community and environment encourages friendship and many who joined previous iterations on a whim ended up meeting people they've stayed in contact with for years.
While rules tend to be very lax, /bant/craft isn't an anarchy server by any means. Griefing, hacked clients, stealing, attentionfagging, etc. is frowned upon and extreme situations can warrant a ban. Just being a huge asshole in general can also sometimes warrant a ban even if no actual rules have been broken, which is the real spirit of what /bant/craft law intends to achieve.
The biggest plugin to know about is Lands. Lands is used as the less austistic substitute for Towny on the server. This allows people to set permissions for citizens of their land and other relatively simple things, such as disabling monster spawning, without getting too into economics and the more complicated aspects of Towny.
Hugs are a server favorite plugin that allow players to hug each other just by crouching and right-clicking! Unfortunately this plugin has not yet been updated to 1.18, but the millisecond it does, rest assured, it will see a return.
/kit welfare is a popular plugin that gives all players a set amount of Dogecoins - the national currency of /bant/craft - once a day. The amount does not stack if you fail to claim the kit, so it encourages people to log in and play frequently to stack up on Dogecoins.
Shopkeepers are custom villagers that you can order to sell anything you want. Only catch is you have to supply his wares. Popular for helping streamline intra-server trade. Shopkeepers available upon request.
Brewery allows you to make your own alcohol, with a variety of fun effects!
Tiddymaps are map art used by converting jpegs or pngs into minecraft pixels, no chunk editing needed. Not currently available at this time, but the software is already in place - a system of value just needs to be determined first to prevent an overflow of low-quality maps from flooding the server and driving down their value.
The Confederacy
Coords: 2400, -2000
The Confederacy is a land headed by long-time user S8taniaFag. Rural lifestyle is its keep, and numerous spread-out farms can be found intermixed with a pre-generated Village, along with some... cramped, livestock pens. The land's spawn is connected to a Nether portal that offers a straight shot to a Stronghold, and roads through the overworld lead swiftly to the World Spawn. By far the most imposing feature, however, are the capitol buildings, recreations of the greek-style architecture in the real-life Confederate capitol. Currently open to new members!
Sneed's_Brewery
Coords: 2124, -2118
Sneed's Brewery is all about alcohol! Every drink available can be found here, and if it can't, it will be made. Notable for being very close to the World Spawn and the standoutish copper roof on the brewery itself. Headed by long-time user macieq.
Buntown
A startup town generated in the first few days of the map's life. Had over half a dozen members at its height.
